For citizens in Turkey, the United States, and worldwide. The AiA companion runs on your phone, offline-first, and connects you to the nearest disaster coordination centre.

Install the companion
- Download from your device's app store or sideload the signed APK.
- Allow location, notification, and Bluetooth permissions when prompted.
- The app weighs under 40 MB and works offline after first launch.
- Updates are delivered silently — no manual action needed.
Provision the device
- Open the app and tap 'Get started'.
- The app generates a device key pair — no email or phone number required.
- Your identity is a cryptographic hash, not a name.
- Provisioning completes in under 3 seconds on any network.
Register citizen profile
- Optionally add blood type, allergies, and emergency contacts.
- This creates your ICE (In-Case-of-Emergency) profile.
- Data is encrypted at rest — only authorised medics can read it.
- You can update or delete your profile at any time.
Send first message
- Tap the compose button and type a message.
- Messages route through the best available transport — cellular, Wi-Fi, mesh, or satellite.
- Delivery confirmation appears as a checkmark.
- If all networks are down, messages queue and replay when connectivity returns.
Use emergency flow
- Long-press the red SOS button for 2 seconds.
- Select the emergency type: Medical, Fire, Collapse, Flood, or Other.
- Your GPS coordinates are attached automatically.
- An operator will respond within 90 seconds median.
Troubleshooting
- If the app shows 'No network', move to higher ground or open space.
- Restart Bluetooth if mesh peers are not visible.
- Clear the app cache if the map does not load.
- Force-close and reopen to reset the transport layer.
Talk to support
- Tap the help icon in the top-right corner.
- Describe your issue — a support operator will respond.
- For urgent issues, call your local emergency number directly.
- Support is available 24/7 in Turkish, English, Arabic, and Kurdish.
