Life-threatening emergency
- Call your local emergency number immediately (112 / 911).
- If you have the AiA companion, trigger SOS after the call.
- Stay on the line until the operator releases you.
- Provide exact location — GPS coordinates if possible.
Medical incident
- Trigger SOS in the AiA companion and select 'Medical'.
- Describe symptoms, number of patients, and consciousness level.
- Follow operator instructions — do not move spinal injury patients.
- AiA routes the nearest medical response team automatically.
Fire
- Trigger SOS and select 'Fire'.
- Evacuate the building immediately — do not use elevators.
- Close doors behind you to slow the spread.
- Move upwind and report smoke colour and building type.
Hazardous material
- Trigger SOS and select 'Hazmat'.
- Move uphill and upwind from the source immediately.
- Do not touch, smell, or approach unknown substances.
- Report container type, markings, and spill size if visible.
Building collapse
- Trigger SOS and select 'Building collapse'.
- Do not enter the structure — secondary collapse is likely.
- Report number of floors, construction type, and estimated occupants.
- Mark the location for USAR teams arriving by air or ground.
Mass-casualty incident
- Trigger SOS and describe the scene scale.
- Estimate number of injured and most severe visible injuries.
- Mark triage collection points on the AiA map if possible.
- An operator will coordinate response within 90 seconds.
Other
- Trigger SOS and describe the situation in plain language.
- Attach a photo or voice memo if safe to do so.
- The operator will classify and route your report.
- Response target: under 90 seconds to first operator contact.
